Next time you empty out a rectangular, one gallon acetone, lacquer thinner or similar can, don't throw it away! Instead, cut out the side opposite the spout and fold down sharp edges as shown in diagrahm below. These make great containers for storing whet stones. Simply add about a quarter inch of kerosene and store your stones.
